Boost Internationalization, Unimus Faculty of Health Collaborates with Cheju Halla University South Korea
Semarang | Internationalization and development of the Three Principles of Higher Education in research is one of the quality indicators of each higher education institution. Synergizing with this, the Unimus Faculty of Nursing and Health (FIKKES) held a collaboration with Cheju Halla University, Korea. The signing of the MoU was held on Tuesday (04/12/2018) at the Unimus NRC Building during the Joint Meeting in KOICA's research proposal preparation. Four delegates were present from Cheju Halla University South Korea's School of Nursing, namely Hyun Ju Kim, RN, MPH, PhD (Director - Center for International Development Coorperation and Professor - Department of Nursing), Jung-Sik, Woo PhD (Dept. of Health Administration Dean), Susie Yoon, PhD (Assistant Professor School of Nursing) and Yun Jeong Boo, PhD (Assistant Professor Dept. of Nursing).
They plan to partner in research with Unimus FIKKES through KOICA 2020 Joint Meeting on Preparation Research Collaboration. Facilitated by Unimus International Relationship Officer, delegates from CHU Korea held discussions with lecturers and researchers from nursing programs related to research plans on adolescent health in Semarang. On this occasion also discussed cooperation plans for several other research topics in the field of nursing and health.
Present to give a speech to the Deputy Chancellor II, Dr. Sri Rejeki, S.Kp, M.Kep, Sp.Mat. The Unimus Vice Chancellor II welcomed the collaborative effort between Unimus Faculty of Health and Cheju Halla University, especially in terms of research development. "I hope that with the signing of this MoU, in the future it can be followed up with concrete steps that can certainly provide utilization between the two parties," he said. For one week a team of lecturers from Unimus Faculty of Health will compete with a delegation from Cheju Halla University to conduct an initial data survey on the health status of adolescents of school age in the city of Semarang. The research is planned to be conducted in 2019-2020, with funding from KOICA.
